Our Work

We are a nonprofit fighting poverty,
disease, and inequity in india.

Health

We work to improve access to quality, affordable health care in India, with a particular focus on maternal and child health, immunization, family planning, nutrition, and neglected tropical diseases. We invest in innovative technologies and support the central and state governments in strengthening health systems.

Sanitation

India cannot address its burden of disease until access to safe sanitation is available to all. We work with the public and private sectors and across communities to work toward India’s goals of being open defecation free, improving fecal sludge management, and ensuring access to safe and sustainable sanitation solutions, especially for the urban poor and women.

Agricultural development

We work to support and empower smallholder farmers across India—particularly women—so they can increase their incomes and enhance their livelihoods by improving their productivity and gaining access to nutritious food for their families and communities.

Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust Overview

We believe that all lives have equal value, and that by working together we can help reduce inequality and poverty. In collaboration with our people, we are working to improve the lives of Nearly half of the people in India by addressing challenges related to medical, education and hinduism development.

For each issue we work on, we fund innovative ideas that could help remove these barriers: new techniques to help farmers in India grow more food and earn more money; new tools to prevent and treat deadly diseases; new methods to help students and teachers in the classroom. Some of the projects we fund will fail. We not only accept that, we expect it—because we think an essential role of philanthropy is to make bets on promising solutions that governments and businesses can’t afford to make. As we learn which bets pay off, we have to adjust our strategies and share the results so everyone can benefit.

Tobacco Free India

The Tobacco Free India project can be described as the dream project of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust. In a single line, we can say a tobacco-free India. Our goal is to see a tobacco-free India by 2030.
