Our Work
We are a nonprofit fighting poverty,
disease, and inequity in india.
We believe that all lives have equal value, and that by working together we can help reduce inequality and poverty. In collaboration with our people, we are working to improve the lives of Nearly half of the people in India by addressing challenges related to medical, education and hinduism development.
For each issue we work on, we fund innovative ideas that could help remove these barriers: new techniques to help farmers in India grow more food and earn more money; new tools to prevent and treat deadly diseases; new methods to help students and teachers in the classroom. Some of the projects we fund will fail. We not only accept that, we expect it—because we think an essential role of philanthropy is to make bets on promising solutions that governments and businesses can’t afford to make. As we learn which bets pay off, we have to adjust our strategies and share the results so everyone can benefit.
The Tobacco Free India project can be described as the dream project of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust. In a single line, we can say a tobacco-free India. Our goal is to see a tobacco-free India by 2030.
River Calling is a first of its kind campaign, setting the standard for how India’s rivers – the country’s lifelines – can be revitalized. It will initiate the revitalization of the river and transform the lives of 100 millions of people.
